Heuersdorf was located in western Saxony along the route Borna - Heuersdorf - Lucka - Zeitz about 30 kilometers south of Leipzig.
You could travel by rail to the town of Deutzen. From there, Heuersdorf was a 20 minute walk to the west. Today, you will see only mining destruction at the site.
